Welcome to the NCFH electronic Library and Resource Center. This databank is designed to facilitate your search for migrant health related information from our Library collection of over 5000 items and our Resource Center. Library materials include historical information about farmworkers dating back to the 1930's, published and unpublished reports and dissertations, articles from medical journals and the popular press, federal and state legislation and regulations, and a large video collection. The NCFH Resource Center carries patient educational tools, videos, educational curricula, governmental publications and many promotional items that honor migrant farmworkers and the migrant health field such as artwork, decals, key chains, coffee mug, audiocassettes, CDs, calendar, etc.

There are two types of search functions you may use on this site: basic and advanced.
Basic Search
To use this search function, please type in a key word or phrase. Phrases must be denoted with quotations, i.e "breast cancer". This search will identify all library holdings which contain that word or phrase in any of the search categories which are: title, author, description, key words and geographic location. To refine your search parameters, you may want to proceed to an advanced search.
Advanced Search
If you know the title or author of the material you are searching for, enter this information into the corresponding field. If you are searching for a specific topic, but do not know the name of the title or author, enter a word or words in any of the search fields. For example, you may enter cancer in the Description Field, pesticides in the Keyword Field and Texas in the Geographic Location Field. The search results will include all materials which contain these words in those designated fields. You may enter information in any one and or all of the fields to refine your search.
Results
Search results will be displayed in alphabetical order by Title.
If you want additional information on one of the listed titles,
click on the title link to display information on the title, author,
publisher, date published, and description. Also displayed on this
page is information on availability options of this material, i.e., for
download, for loan, for purchase or for free (see information about
duplication and shipping charges). If the item is available for
download, click on the link to download the material immediately.

You can return to your search results at any time and continue to
view materials and add to your cart or begin a new search by using
links at the bottom of the item page.
Duplication and Shipping Charges
NCFH strives to provide materials at little or no cost to its customers.
The majority of materials are free of charge with minimal fees for
duplication and any shipping and handling fees. Duplication costs are
calculated based on the total number of pages from materials ordered that
exceed 20 pages, at a cost of .10 per page.
Shipping and Handling
All orders will be charged for shipping and handling based on the
schedule below:
$2.50 for standard shipping
$7.50 for 2 day shipping
$12.50 for overnight
Loan Items
Items available for loan will not be processed electronically.
After submitting your order for a loan item, you will be contacted by
NCFH to process your request. Items are loaned for a period of one month,
with an additional one month extension provided via electronic or
telephonic request. A credit card number is required as a deposit for all
loan items. If not returned within the time period, the credit card will
be charged a $25 replacement fee. Shipping and handling charges apply for
all loan items.

has additional fees.)
Order Completion
When you have completed the search and selection process, proceed to the
"Go to Order Form". Please review all items ordered, total costs for
duplication and shipping, payment information and billing address.
Items must be pre-purchased with a credit card unless other arrangements
have been made with NCFH. Please call if you have any questions.
A confirmation e-mail will be sent following your order request.
