 Resource Center

The NCFH Resource Center has been serving migrant health clinics by providing information and materials since 1980. Our resource center contains over 200 distributable items, from slide shows to patient educational tools and videos. We have in stock many governmental publications that address the needs of farmworkers and those who serve them, such as guides on pesticide handling and heat stress, as well as, bilingual educational curriculums/curricula and handouts.

Duplication and Shipping Charges
NCFH strives to provide materials at little or no cost to its customers. The majority of materials are free of charge with minimal fees for duplication and any shipping and handling fees. Duplication costs are calculated based on the total number of pages from materials ordered that exceed 20 pages, at a cost of .10 per page.

Shipping and Handling
All orders will be charged for shipping and handling based on the schedule below:
$2.50 for standard shipping
$7.50 for 2 day shipping
$12.50 for overnight

Loan Items
Items available for loan will not be processed electronically. After submitting your order for a loan item, you will be contacted by NCFH to process your request. Items are loaned for a period of one month, with an additional one month extension provided via electronic or telephonic request. A credit card number is required as a deposit for all loan items. If not returned within the time period, the credit card will be charged for the retail value of the item. This amount is printed on the order form and invoice. Shipping and handling charges apply for all loan items.

(Note: The loan of America's Migrant Farmworkers: A Photographic Survey has additional fees.)

The NCFH Resource Center also has many promotional items that honor migrant farmworkers and the migrant health field such as decals, audiocassettes and CDs, and a migrant health calendar. All of the items available in the NCFH Resource Center can be viewed and ordered online. Listed below are the items currently available.
