Commemorative
Artwork Series
Every year the National Center for Farmworker Health commissions
an artist to depict an image relevant to the lifestyle of
the migrant and seasonal Farmworker population to commemorate
the Annual Farmworker Health Conference. Proceeds from the
sale of fine art prints and posters are used to award scholarships
to individuals with the potential to positively affect farmworkers.
The Migrant Health Scholarship Award program was established
in 1984 and originally provided awards to migrant students
and to medical students interested in working with farmworkers.
Beginning in 1993, the awards have been presented to migrant
health center staff to assist them in pursuing their professional
goals. Approximately four to five $1000 awards are given every
year. We invite you to preview current and past artwork and
support the Scholarship Program with your purchase. If you
