Announcement: Fiscal Year (FY) 2011 Grant Competition: New Access Points (HRSA-11-017)
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Bureau of Primary Health Care (BHPC) is pleased to announce the release of HRSA-11-017: NEW ACCESS POINTS (NAP) grant competition. An important element of HRSA’s commitment to improving and expanding access to needed primary health care services is the support of new access points for the delivery of primary health care services for the underserved through operational support under the Health Center Program (i.e., Community Health Center (CHC), Migrant Health Center (MHC), Health Care for the Homeless (HCH), and Public Housing Primary Care (PHPC) Programs) authorized under section 330 of the Public Health Service (PHS) Act, as amended. Organizations eligible to compete include public or nonprofit entities, including tribal, faith-based and community-based organizations. Please visit the Grants.gov website at: WWW.GRANTS.GOV to access the HRSA-11-017: New Access Points funding opportunity announcement detailing the eligibility requirements, review criteria and awarding factors for organizations seeking a grant for operational support of new access points in FY 2011. The application submission process for HRSA-11-017: New Access Points involves a two-step submission process via Grants.gov and the HRSA Electronic Handbooks (EHB): Phase 1: must be completed and successfully submitted via Grants.gov by 8:00 PM ET on November 17, 2010. Phase 2: must be completed and successfully submitted by 5:00 PM ET on December 15, 2010. No paper applications will be accepted without prior written approval from HRSA’s Division of Grants Policy.
