Hombres Preparados: An HIV/AIDS Education Program for Solo Latino Agricultural Worker Males

About the Training

This webinar will guide participants through the Hombres Preparados materials, which include a bilingual training curriculum for Community Health Workers (CHWs), a fotonovela- style flipchart and an HIV prevention video. We will share the most recent data on HIV/AIDS in the Latino/Hispanic population, discuss the risk factors faced by the "solo" agricultural male workers traveling without their families, and how these factors were incorporated into the Hombres Preparados curriculum and teaching tools. Migratory and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Status Verification
