EPILEPSY FOUNDATION
In 2007, the CFH Program and the National Epilepsy Foundation formed a partnership to better serve the educational and informational needs of the Hispanic community around the topic of epilepsy. By an exchange of information via the Call for Health Program and the Epilepsy Foundation Spanish toll free number, both parties work together to increase awareness and knowledge of epilepsy among Hispanic communities nationwide. This partnership provides on time and accurate information to Spanish-speaking callers. Callers also receive information on the Epilepsy Foundation affiliates in their territories, as well as additional referrals, such as points of diagnosis, treatment, bilingual printed materials, and education services for the person with epilepsy and their families.
