Diego Edgar Sanchez Sanchez 
​Farmworker Outreach Consultant





Diego collaborates on diverse COVID-19 related public health topics, including the development of educational materials and H-2A worker outreach programs. He is currently working on a Certificate in Agricultural Worker Health at the Autonomous University of Zacatecas. Diego is a lifelong coffee farmer from Veracruz Mexico and has himself worked in the U.S. on an H-2A visa. He has worked in the past as a civil engineer and has a special love for Mexican Rancheras and Folkloric music.

Participa dentro de NCFH colaborando en diversos temas de Salud Publica en el desarrollo de materiales educativos y proyectos de alcance para trabajadores del programa H2-A en México.  Actualmente se encuentra cursando el Diplomado Salud De Trabajadores Agrícolas que imparte la Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas. Diego es campesino nato originario del mexicano estado de Veracruz. Ha sido trabajador agrícola por medio del programa de visas H2-A en el estado de Texas.  Se ha dedicado a las actividades del cultivo del café desde muy temprana edad en su tierra natal como pequeño productor de estos cultivos junto con sus familiares. También ha participado en diferentes proyectos de construcción y obra civil en energías renovables. Y tiene un gusto especial por la música ranchera y folclórica mexicana.
