For many years, NCFH has invested in Community/Migrant Health Center staff of clinical, administrative, and ancillary disciplines through annual scholarships that are made possible by the sale of our commemorative artwork and posters. The purpose of the scholarships is to assist health center staff to pursue their educational goals in health care and to contribute to the development of the Community/Migrant Health Center workforce. Selection of recipients is based on demonstrated commitment to working in migrant health, choice of career path, and personal experience, with special recognition of those who have a family history as farmworkers.

Since 1984, NCFH has awarded more than $194,000 in scholarships.  These awards are made possible exclusively through funds raised as a result of sales of commemorative fine art prints and posters. This artwork commemorates and celebrates the Annual Farmworker Conference and the dignity of the farmworkers themselves. The artist is handpicked usually from the geographic area where the conference is being held. Produced in both a limited edition fine art print and poster format, the original pieces of artwork are sold exclusively through NCFH.

NCFH is proud to announce that applications are now available for the 2015 Migrant Health Scholarship Program.  Those selected recipients will be recognized during the 2015 National Farmworker Health Conference that will be held in San Antonio, TX in May 2015.

Applications for the 2015 Migrant Health Scholarship are now available!

Remember – Application Deadline is March 20, 2015! For more information, please contact Janie Favre at (512) 312-5460 or by email at (favre@ncfh.org).
