Combatting COVID-19 on Our Farms & in Our Communities
As part of NCFH's cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention, "National Partnership for Preparedness and Response to Public Health Emergencies Among Agricultural Workers", we have partnered with Farmworker Justice and Health Outreach Partners to identify real-life examples of exemplary employer and community efforts to prevent COVID-19 infections among agricultural workers and their families, and to support those suffering from the physical, social, and economic effects of COVID-19.
We are identifying examples of promising practices that are replicable in farms and communities across the country, that have demonstrated positive effects for agricultural worker families, and that follow public health guidance. Please explore our curated collection of promising practices that can be implemented on farm worksites or in rural communities. If you would like to nominate your organization or business, or a business or organization in your community, please contact Bethany Alcauter.
