{"id":6511,"date":"2024-04-18T07:14:15","date_gmt":"2024-04-18T12:14:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ncfh.org\/team\/bethany-alcauter\/"},"modified":"2025-09-30T10:30:40","modified_gmt":"2025-09-30T15:30:40","slug":"bethany-alcauter","status":"publish","type":"staff","link":"https:\/\/www.ncfh.org\/es\/our-team\/bethany-alcauter\/","title":{"rendered":"Bethany Alcauter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bethany dirige un programa nacional enfocado en reducir la carga de enfermedades infecciosas entre las comunidades de trabajadores agr\u00edcolas como parte de un acuerdo de cooperaci\u00f3n con los Centros para el Control y la Prevenci\u00f3n de Enfermedades (CDC por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s).\u202f Ella tiene una licenciatura en Salud Comunitaria, una maestr\u00eda en Salud P\u00fablica con especialidad en Epidemiolog\u00eda, y un Doctorado en epidemiolog\u00eda laboral de la Universidad de Texas, Centro de Ciencias de la Salud. Sus \u00e1reas de experiencia est\u00e1n enfocadas en la investigaci\u00f3n participativa e impulsada por la comunidad, incluyendo a los trabajadores agr\u00edcolas y de bajos salarios, y temas de salud y seguridad en el trabajo para los trabajadores empleados en la agricultura y la construcci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Bethany, junto a su familia, tiene una peque\u00f1a granja en el Centro de Texas donde cr\u00eda aves de corral, cabras, y ganado vacuno.
