Marielen is responsible for providing information and referrals for the Call for Health Program. She is committed to providing farmworkers with access to healthcare.

Marielen is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in education from Sam Houston State University. Prior to joining NCFH, Marielen played an important role as a Bilingual Community Health Education Specialist, providing knowledge and resources to middle schools and high schools in low-income communities, as well as helping them get access to healthcare services. Marielen is also a certified Community Health Worker (CHW).
