
Sylvia Partida
Chief Executive Officer
Sylvia Partida is the Chief Executive Officer for the National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH). In this role, she provides oversight to all programs within NCFH and works closely with the network of community and migrant health centers across the country to insure access to quality health care services for the agricultural worker population. She has a broad range of experiences in education, psychology, research and evaluation. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and is certified in early childhood, elementary and special education. She received a Masters of Arts degree in clinical psychology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. Ms. Partida joined NCFH in 2000. For the last twenty-five years, she has been involved with the development, implementation and evaluation of community health programs targeting diverse populations including at-risk adolescents, indigent populations and agricultural workers. She has worked with several organizations including CDC, HRSA, HIV/AIDS Bureau, the Office of Minority Health, EPA, NIOSH, Maternal and Child Health Bureau, and SAMHSA, as well as state and local entities.
