NATIONAL FARMWORKER RESOURCE

In response to Florida’s SB1718 becoming law, NCFH created a National Farmworker Resources one-pager for outreach staff to support farmworkers in circumstances of moving away from Florida and in search of housing, farmworker jobs, migrant health centers, and other farmworker serving organizations and services across the United States.


Spanish Outreach Protocol

This Spanish Outreach Protocol booklet highlights outreach safety tips for farmworker-serving outreach staff, including some key challenges and how to address them. All tips were compiled by NCFH based on input from farmworker-serving organizations and NCFH’s own experience conducting outreach.

The purpose of the program is to increase access to health care services for migratory and seasonal agricultural workers and their families.

Health Outreach Partner’s 2nd Edition Outreach Reference Manual is a comprehensive reference for farmworker outreach programs and outreach staff. Topics include understanding farmworkers, maximizing resources, hiring an outreach team, retaining an outreach team, conducting a farmworker needs assessment, health education fundamentals, and many more.


NCFH Radio PSAs

In 2024, NCFH produced two radio PSAs informing potential potential farmworkers of available health centers in the USA. Each PSA was translated into seven indigenous languages including Nahuatl, Purepecha, Tsotsil, Tzetal, and Zapoteco. Share these 60-second informative audio and video with farmworkers in your area.
