Welcome to the National Center for Farmworker Health’s Infectious Disease Hub! This hub is designed to provide information and resources for farmworkers and their families on some of the most common infectious diseases and their associated vaccines such as H5N1, COVID-19, influenza, tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, tuberculosis, and Lyme disease.

You can download our assessment checklist in English and Spanish.

Vaccines are a safe and effective way to protect against many infectious diseases, including the ones featured in this hub. Getting vaccinated not only protects one person from getting sick, but it also helps to prevent spreading the disease to others. We encourage farmworkers and their families to speak with their healthcare providers about the vaccines that are recommended for them, including the COVID-19 vaccine and the COVID-19 booster shots.
