What Makes the NCFH Agricultural Worker Health Symposia So Unique?For more than 50 years, the National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH) has advanced the health and well-being of agricultural workers. Building on decades of convening the agricultural worker health workforce, the Agricultural Worker Health Symposium brings together health centers, community organizations, researchers, and national partners to strengthen care, share practical solutions, and build lasting connections. The Symposium is a trusted space for professionals serving agricultural workers to learn from one another, identify emerging needs, and strengthen national collaboration. NCFH bases these Symposium events on three foundational pillars:
Together, these pillars create opportunities to explore agricultural worker health topics in greater depth, share stories and experiences from the field, and exchange challenges, promising practices, and intervention strategies. The Symposium also provides a space for multidisciplinary collaboration, discussion, and planning, with a focus on applying learning to service delivery and building a unified voice around priority issues affecting agricultural workers and their families. Who Should Attend?These events bring together health center staff, community partners, and other professionals who serve agricultural workers and their families. Participants may include clinicians, community health workers, outreach workers, case managers, researchers, advocates, health department staff, health center board members and leadership, as well as other health center staff and representatives from organizations working to improve health outcomes and access to care for agricultural worker communities. |

What is the Goal of These Events?In alignment with NCFH’s mission, our goal for these events is to improve the health and well-being of farmworker families by providing high-quality workforce development training that strengthens the capacity of health centers, advocates, researchers, and other organizations that serve these communities. We recognize that building upon the important work of our colleagues across the field requires continued investment in developing strong, knowledgeable health leaders. NCFH Fall 2025 Agricultural Worker Symposium

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the NCFH Fall Agricultural Worker Health Symposium in Phoenix! We were thrilled to welcome attendees from 19 states across the country for three days of learning, collaboration, and practical strategies to strengthen health access for agricultural workers. From engaging workshops to meaningful connections with fellow attendees, the fall Symposium provided a valuable space to share ideas and highlight effective approaches in the field.
During the opening session of the Fall Symposium NCFH was proud to recognize Adelante Healthcare as the Fall 2025 Increase Access to Care for Agricultural Workers (IAC) Promising Practices Award recipient. Adelante’s innovative outreach model, leveraging partnerships and hosting mini health fairs during regularly scheduled farm visits, has significantly improved access to care for agricultural worker families in the communities they serve. Their team presented their approach during the Symposium, offering attendees practical insights and real-world strategies to adapt and implement in their own settings.
