Using Social Media to Address Tobacco Use Among Agricultural Workers

This webinar will explore the role of social media in supporting agricultural workers, focusing on strategies, best practices, and resources for raising awareness of tobacco-related health risks and offering cessation support. It will also showcase NCFH’s Social Media Toolkit for addressing tobacco use among agricultural workers, with practical implementation tips and sample templates.Upon completion of this webinar, participants will:

  1. Learn about the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute’s The Heart Truth®️ program and its commitment to raising awareness about heart disease.
  2. Understand the Your Heart, Your Life curriculum and how to use it to promote heart health in your community by addressing topics such as heart disease, risk factors, heart attack symptoms, and heart-healthy living.
  3. Enhance your role in heart health education by learning about additional resources, encouraging healthy behaviors, and helping reduce heart health disparities.
