For many years, NCFH has invested in health center clinical, administrative, and ancillary disciplines staff through annual scholarships that are made possible by the sale of our commemorative artwork and posters. The purpose of the scholarships is to assist health center staff to pursue their educational goals in health care and to contribute to the development of the health center workforce. Selection of recipients is based on demonstrated commitment to working in the agricultural worker community, choice of career path, and personal experience, with special recognition to those who have a family history as agricultural workers.
Since 1984, NCFH has awarded more than $220,000 in scholarships. These awards are made possible exclusively through funds raised as a result of sales of commemorative fine art prints and posters. This artwork commemorates and celebrates the dignity of the agricultural workers themselves. Produced in both a limited-edition fine art print and poster format, the original pieces of artwork are sold exclusively through NCFH.
The National Center for Farmworker Health is now accepting applications for its Scholarship Program, recognizing the dedication of health center employees and board members working to improve access to care for agricultural workers and their families.
NCFH will award scholarships of up to $1,500 for degree programs and up to $1,000 for certificate programs or other educational opportunities, including conference or seminar participation and specific subject courses. The application deadline is Friday, February 27, 2026. Interested applicants may apply by completing the online application form. Proof of enrollment is required prior to the release of scholarship funds.
Selected recipients will be recognized during the NCFH Agricultural Worker Health Spring Symposium, held April 15–17, 2026, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
