Health Initiatives Manager

Maria specializes in chronic disease prevention, management, and control, with a focus on implementing health programs that expand access to care for agricultural workers. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is a certified Community Health Worker (CHW) Instructor. Prior to joining NCFH as the Health Initiatives Manager, she worked with TMF Health Quality Institute and the Texas State Office of Rural Health, where she strengthened her commitment to improving health outcomes for underserved and rural communities.
