Nourishing the Workforce: Nutrition Security Among Agricultural Workers in Wisconsin

July 8 @ 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm CDT

Join the National Center for Farmworker Health (NCFH), Noble Community Clinic & University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine and Community Health on a training about nutrition security among farmworkers. This training draws on findings from a dual timeframe, mixed methods study exploring how agricultural workers in Wisconsin navigate their food environments across the season. From employer-provided meals and kitchen access to transportation barriers and the availability of culturally meaningful foods.

Rooted in community-informed evidence and a strength-based approach, this session will offer practical, culturally responsive strategies that health centers, outreach teams, and agricultural employers can put into practice to better support the health and nutrition of agricultural worker communities.

This training will be presented in English.
