Yvette Salinas
Network Program Manager
Yvette Salinas oversees NCFH’s national farmworker partner network activities and supports the development and implementation of outreach strategies and workforce capacity-building for farmworker-serving organizations to advance health equity among farmworker, refugee, immigrant, and migrant populations.
Yvette has over fifteen years of experience supporting organizing, education, and public health programs in farmworker and immigrant communities across the U.S-Mexico border, rural counties across Texas, and nationwide. She has led campaigns to improve public infrastructure in colonias, collaborated with farmworker advocacy groups to identify signs of labor trafficking within the agricultural industry, and helped low-wage workers recover unpaid wages. Yvette received her Master’s in Communication with a focus in Training and Consulting from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She enjoys creating puppet masks from recycled materials, bird watching, and photographing cool bugs.
