In 2002, the NCFH Resource Center significantly expanded its archives through the generous personal donation of historical migrant health materials by the late Helen Johnston, the first director of the federal Migrant Health Program. This invaluable collection deepened the center’s role as a national repository for the history and advancement of migrant health.
