NCFH proudly present this year's artist, Erin Brady Worsham. At the age of 36, Erin was diagnosed with amyotrophic lacteral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease. In the summer of 1999, a software program that allows her communication devices to interface with her computer and move the mouse, allowed her to began reclaiming her art by operating the computer and composing her pictures with a switch taped between her eyebrows. Her work has now been seen in exhibits around the United States, Canada, and Australia. Worsham has participated in disability arts festivals and exhibits around the world and has received several awards. To learn more about Erin, click here.
Take a look at this video of how Erin created her NCFH art piece titled Tender Strength, which is available for sale. A limited number of fine art prints, posters, and greeting cards are still available. The proceeds benefit the NCFH Migrant Health Scholarship Fund.
