This Language Access Services Assessment and Planning Tool is designed to help community-based organizations (CBOs) recognize and consider key elements in providing language access services to communities with limited English proficiency (LEP). The document contains two sections: 1) the Initial Assessment to evaluate current services and assess community need and 2) Plan Development to build or improve current services based on your assessment. The tool provides guiding questions, key considerations, resources and tips to support each organization’s brainstorming process.
